Dr. Aaron Small
Aaron joined WHEB partners in 2010. In his role as Analyst, he is responsible for
screening deals, managing the deal database, while also acting as a first point of
contact for potential investee companies, and assisting in company due diligence.
Prior to WHEB, Aaron worked as an Analyst at Endeavour Capital, a leading New
Zealand-based Private Equity firm. Before this, he worked with Victoria University,
Wellington commercialising university research. On his arrival in London, Aaron
interned at the Cleantech Group, where he conducted research on global cleantech
companies.

Aaron completed a PhD in chemistry from Victoria University under the supervision of
Jim Johnston, Wellington and the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and
Nanotechnology in 2008.
