Economics seminar I

Economics seminar I: Introductory economics for non-economists

This lecture is designed for anyone who wants a deeper or broader understanding of economic principles, and the interconnections between different economic statistics. Intended as the first lecture of two, it covers the principles of macro and micro-economics, inflation, labour markets, government intervention, finance and international trade. The second lecture connects those principles to common economic measures and statistics produced by Statistics NZ.
