With experience ranging from corrosion science to biomedical devices, and spanning across academia, industry and government labs, Prof. Williams’ talk provided an overview of what it takes to be a technology entrepreneur. Case studies of real startups – including Capteur Sensors and Aeroqual – structured a talk that covered numerous topics including business plans, venture capitalists, R&D and markets.
